Home for the Holidays

Well, I survived my first semester of college (and college exams). It wasn't as bad as the horror stories I've heard, but I definitely wasn't able to coast through it. Joel and Andrew drove back to Florida with me on Thursday. Luckily, 15 hours in a car with those two is pretty enjoyable -they're such awesome guys. Alex has been calling me every night to talk for about 20 minutes before bed (he gets up early to swim and I get up early to run, so we don't talk very late).

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so my sister and I will go to the 6pm church service with my dad, but my mom will be at work. After church, we're having dinner at dad's apartment. It is so warm down here. The bank's sign said it was 86 degrees earlier.

I'm trying to keep my break pretty lax, so I didn't try to find work and I'm not making many plans to hang out with people. So far, I have shopped with my mom and sis (found really cute, tall, black boots), read Jane Eyre, and Senny+Paul came over for Eggs Benedict last night.
