The drive up only took 13.5 hours yesterday -an hour and a half faster than normal. There was supposed to be snow and ice the whole way, but it didn't even snow until the last hour. When I arrived, my wonderful friends were waiting and ready to unpack my car, move all the stuff in my old place to my new apartment, and then keep me company while I organized it all.
So now I am in SJH with my new roommate and am loving it. Having a roommate will be good, I think. I'm only taking 15 hours this semester, but all of them are on T/R so that I can nanny on MWF. I will only be nannying W+F most weeks.
I am hoping that I can stay above all that marriage/relationship pressure that is so pervasive at Asbury.
