Scholarship

Great news, I got the 50% tuition in the scholarship weekend February 21-ish. That means that I can keep most of my grants and such that I have this year in addition to the 50%. Yay for college not being as expensive!

Cheer leading is finally over (not that it wasn't fun). Maybe I will actually be able to focus more on school now. Seriously, I wish I had more time to study. I enjoy most of my class this semester and also feel like I am getting to know my profs better this semester.

I think I am getting a little home sick for blue skies. I don't know just how much I can handle of these gray and dreary clouds. I try to listen to upbeat music, but it doesn't help too much. There is supposed to be a small blizzard or something coming through Wilmore tonight, so I doubt that blue skies are very near. Since music doesn't work very well, I try surrounding myself with people, but then I just get distracted from my school work. School is kind of the reason why I am paying all this money to be here, it's probably more important than being around loud/happy people.

In hopes of finding a major/some kind of job that I could potentially be happy with, I started going to sessions at the Career and Calling Center at Asbury last week. I start taking all of those personality tests and such next week. I hope I get something out of this and can feel confident about whatever field of study I choose.

One more week until Spring Break/Europe! (let's hope I can keep my sanity 'till then)
